Joseph E. Statter

Joseph E. Statter has been engaged as a consultant to the Company since February, 2008. Mr. Statter is identifying and screening potential targets as well as assisting with due diligence, transaction structuring, and documentation for our initial business combination. Mr. Statter joins the company from FBR Capital Markets where he served as Managing Director and head of Communications and Media Investment Banking from 2006 until 2008. He was a member of FBR Capital Markets Technology, Media & Telecom Investment Banking Group since 1998. While at FBR Capital Markets, Mr. Statter was responsible for originating and executing public and private placements of securities and mergers and acquisitions assignments for incumbent, competitive, and next generation communications service providers, traditional and digital media companies, and companies providing the enabling technologies and infrastructure to participants in the media and communications value chain. In addition to capital markets and mergers and acquisition transactions, Mr. Statter also advised companies on bankruptcy and restructuring assignments. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Statter was with Arthur Andersen LLP's Corporate Finance Group where he advised middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions and private placements of debt and equity. He started his career at Arthur Andersen LLP in 1988 as a member of their tax division. Mr. Statter is a CPA certificate holder and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988.
